Over 280 people attended the June 16, 2017 Oregon Law & Mental Health Conference in Portland, Oregon for twelve interactive sessions, hearing from legal, clinical and experiential experts. We had a terrific keynote speech from MacArthur Genius Award winner Elyn Saks, everyone met Rojo the Therapy Llama.
Here’s what else happened.
Presenter Alex Bassos dashed from his presentation to the studios of OPB to appear on Think Out Loud. You can listen to Alex’s talk with host Dave Miller here.
Elyn Saks was interviewed in Street Roots Newspaper. You can read the interview online here.
In the menu bar above you can see a new page titled “Conference – 2017” That page has links to powerpoint presentations (as PDFs) and hand-outs, audio files for most sessions (a couple didn’t get recorded), and photographs taken at the conference. Check back after July 1 for video files for the keynote and two additional sessions.
We’ve posted conference photos from photographer Sharon Thomas here. Her photos of you and Rojo the Therapy Llama are here.
Thanks to our great sponsor Northwest Forensic Institute, LLC, we’ll be sending our info about continuing education credit soon. If you have questions about your CE credit for the conference, email OLMHC.firstname.lastname@example.org.
